The slew of music conferences out there are simply too many to count, but heavy metal has always stood in the margins of more mainstream genres and so we decided it was time that it has its event to celebrate the global impact of an art form that’s been going for over 50 years.

Solution:
With co-founders Dr. Niall Scott, Dr. Lina Khatib, and Old Empire founder Josh Retallick and the support of Arts Council England, w\m/c launched as a two-day conference and live event consisting of panel discussions tackling a wide range of industry and social issues, film screenings, and live music featured on the BBC, ITV, the Wall Street Journal and more.
